SoundAffects Experiment Helps Pedestrians Tune In
I remember living in NYC before iPods, cellphones, and all the other ways we now find to tune out. Unruly traffic forced one to walk everywhere, seeing, smelling, feeling and hearing the sights of the city. Ones' senses were constantly assaulted by the street and other people, so it's no wonder we all stuck earbuds in the moment they became popular. Now, Parson's School of Design in NY is exploring said street sounds to see if a new perspective can affect the way we feel about our environment in a most interesting study. Click thru to read on...
